It doesn't matter what I am on the outside
It doesn't matter what I wear
What matters is what's in the soul
What matters is what I am inside
Sometimes, on the outside, I have the beauty of a rose.
Or the beauty of a monument
But hurt, hate and rancor
It's all I have inside
It's not worth showing off like that
A beautiful, wonderful shell
If inside I have feelings
That make my life painful
I will continue being who I am
I keep living and spreading love
I want my soul calm and serene
Because one day my body ends
But my soul is still beautiful and full.
